Privacy & your information

Information we store

Life OS stores account identity, household membership, notes, tasks, events, reminders, time preferences and their visibility, assistant authorisations, and an audit history of changes. Shared records are accessible to household members. Private records are restricted to their owner through Life OS; trusted infrastructure administrators can access the underlying systems.

Your Google connection

With your consent, Life OS receives your Google account identity and authorisation to manage calendars created by Life OS. Refresh credentials are encrypted in the backend; they are not sent to your assistant or displayed in the browser. Calendar access is used to support Life OS dates and events. Events you choose to publish sync into a separate Life OS calendar in each connected account. Shared events appear for both household members; private events appear only for their owner.

Life OS does not request access to existing personal calendars, email messages or photos. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used by Life OS to train general-purpose AI models. Life OS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Services involved

Supabase hosts authentication, records and backend operations. Vercel hosts this website. Google processes calendar operations when connected. Pushover processes notification content and recipient identifiers when a notification is sent. When you use an AI assistant, information returned by Life OS is processed by that assistant's provider under your account settings and its policies. Only connect assistants you intend to use.

Retention and control

Records and change history remain until deliberately removed under the household's retention decisions; no automatic retention period is currently configured. Soft-deleting a note retains its history for restoration. Request permanent deletion or an export through the contact above. Hosting providers may retain operational logs under their own policies.

Disconnecting Google in Life OS removes the stored connection credentials and pending connection attempts. It does not delete calendar events already created. Revoke the Google-side permission separately in Google account connections. Assistant connections can be disconnected in your Life OS account settings.

Browser storage

This site uses browser storage to keep you signed in and to protect connection flows. These pages do not include advertising or analytics trackers.
